Note the wildly different axis scales.

Please never complain about not having the data again.
Thanks for that, but i already knew those figures, i did ask for the Flu death rates as compared to the year before, mainly for others to question why, as i knew that as well or rather we all knew that but did not think about why

Where do live?or are you taking the Mickey
Prestwich , had to book through nhs England as they never gave me a follow up appointment after my 1st jab in heald green, I’ll speak to the gps on Monday but if I have to travel it’s not that far boots chemist Southport

Do you know why they have registration problems at Weekends? I assume everything is everything is done online, and not waiting for Karen to log in on Monday morning to update the figures?
I don't know - other than a friend who was a medical secretary at a Manchester hospital told me this was common practice where she worked. I guess it might be just down to how different hospitals act but it has been very apparent in the data right back to last April that NW under reports at weekend and over reports to catch up mid week. They also commonly have a big Friday once a month where they back audit I presume.

Once we are this low in the numbers it really makes minimum difference though.

I think it is not just the North West either as the numbers in England hospitals are always highest on Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday and again always have been as weekend data is held over and added.

I also think they may wait in some cases to the new week to consult with the family on registration as there have been some disputes on whether Covid should be on the death certificate or was the main cause of death.

To be fair, some of us probably think the same when we read your posts on this thread.

Do not get upset i do value other opinions just the ones with some input, as i never learn anything otherwise, and needless to say i have not read this thread from the beginning, i am not a morbid grave digger.
You have still not clarified your post that I originally responded to and you reacted to.

I think that is a quirk of trying to book through the national site as I found the same when I had a look. I had my first jab six weeks ago and I didn't get booked in then for my second so out of interest I looked on the national site last week and the few options I saw were ridiculous. I'm in Salford and I was getting Devon, the North of Scotland and similar.

You probably need an 'invitation' to book on your local NHS site.
