It’s bizarre, how the fuck can I have 2 kids with it in the house where first one was probably infectious over 2 weeks ago, and then now I test positive, lol.

Missus is rolling her eyes as she’s thinking it’s bound to be her next.

Ive just ordered a vindaloo and am cracking into some beers, no idea how long I’ll have taste buds for so may as well get leathered tonight.
If it’s that long since the kids tested positive, perhaps you didn’t catch it off them and instead caught it in the last few days from elsewhere? After all, it’s seemingly everywhere at the moment with cases going through the roof.

FFS, I’m positive now, lol.

Thought I felt a bit lacking in energy when I played golf this morning, played well though haha. Maybe covid is good for my swing.

Had a bit of sinusitis, and just got a bit more snotty as the day has gone on.

Thought I’d do a lateral flow as we were supposed to be going to look at kitchens this evening, seemed like no line then just been back to check and it’s now got one.

Load of shite, might have had it a while and this is end of it, considering my kids tested positive 12 days ago.
If you were positive for an LFD test you need to get a PCR test subsequently. It you are symptomatic it can be a false positive.

Yep, seems it’s the case. May as well just get on with life now, seems daft me self isolating, I’ve just finished 10 days of it now I’m supposed to do another 10 days, madness.
I’m in same boat mate,
Tested positive on my 10th day of isolation so will be 3 weeks inside come my own freedom day on Sunday!
It’s enough to drive you round the twist.

ENGLAND HOSPITAL DATA

621 Admissions on Tuesday. Was 458 previous Tuesday,

NORTH WEST AGAIN THIRD MOST WITH 123 - UP FROM 102 LAST WEEK

BUT NE & YORKSHIRE HIGHEST ON 150 - UP FROM 107 LAST WEEK

And MIDLANDS 135 - UP FROM 99 LAST WEEK

LONDON UP FROM 52 LAST WEEK TO 88
Does your data source show discharges as well? That's key.

I get that, and obviously that might be the case, but then why didn‘t I catch it whilst spending 10 days in the house with 2 kids with covid? Strange.

Full GM details

Total cases 2715 - UP 232 on Yesterday - when the whole NW rise was just 9

Obviously not good news in GM!

Wk to wk UP 491 when the NW ROSE by 1009 - again over the 42% par at 49%

Basically a day when GM did a little poorly compared with the NW as a region..

BOROUGH / CASES TODAY / V YESTERDAY / V LAST WEEK

BOLTON 208 / UP 32 / UP 71

BURY 195 / UP 39 / UP 74

MANCHESTER 464 / UP 18 / UP 39

OLDHAM 310 / UP 46 / UP 51

ROCHDALE 233 / UP 28 / UP 39

SALFORD 273 / UP 48 / UP 32

STOCKPORT 243 / UP 12 / UP 53

TAMESIDE 197 / DOWN 36 / UP 18

TRAFFORD 209 / UP 31 / UP 10

WIGAN 383 / UP 14 / UP 104

Everybody up week to week - some by a lot - and only Tameside down day to day.

Bolton with the highest number in weeks has Bury and Tameside who both JUST stayed below 200 - though both are smaller than Bolton they had much larger Pop rises and Bolton's number despite its size was still the best today.

Stockport had a slightly better day and though Trafford had fewer cases they were back up and so Stockport reclaimed 5 more Pop Score Points to increase its lead,

Wigan stayed in the 300s at least and was even joined by Oldham for company.

Yeah, I get that, but I can’t be arsed having a pcr for now, as I’m happy doing bugger all for the next few days anyway. I’ll see how I feel after the weekend.

Cases across the regions:

Change in last 24 hrs V seven days ago

SOUTH

East UP 739 to 3921 V 1919 - big rise day to day and week to week like most places today

London UP 992 to 5743 V 3234 - nearly doubled wk to wk

South East UP 1240 to 5890 V 2806 - biggest increase yet here in the south and now just 300 behind the North West numbers

South West UP 1080 to 4426 V 2105

NOT HARD TO SEE WHERE TODAYS BIG RISE IN NUMBERS CAME FROM - OVER 4000 UP JUST HERE!

The south is rising fast now and where the NW was a few weeks back.

MIDLANDS

East UP 78 to 3204 V 2115

West UP 1433 to 5220 V 3082 - highest increase of the day in another area where Delta is multiplying.

NORTH

North East UP 250 to 3697 V 3305 - not showing quite the same rises here happily

Yorkshire UP 681 to 5334 V 3907 - Yorkshire is going higher and higher.

NE & YORKSHIRE as Zoe does and the NHS does combines these two for the hospital data and this is clearly now the biggest area with 9031 cases - way over where the North West has reached to date and about 50% above where it is today

AND

NORTH WEST UP 9 to 6212 V 4950 - Still the highest region (BUT see above ref NE & Yorkshire)

An increase of 9 versus all those huge numbers that put the UK numbers up by 6251 today really shows you what I have been saying for a few days.

NW has plateaued and is no longer why these cases are rising. They have just now reached everywhere ese who are doing what the NW did some weeks before them.

NO ARGUMNENT THAT THE NW HAD THE BEST DAY TODAY.

Past weeks NW numbers are 5203 - 6487 - 4758 - 4231 - 4769 - 4931 - 6203 - 6212

Equivalent NW numbers a week earlier 4366 - 5033 - 3997 - 3989 - 3945 - 3960 - 4950 - 5203

GM numbers in past week 2224 - 2717 - 2025 - 1770 - 2043 - 2034 - 2483 - 2695

Total in GM from the NW cases Total - 43.4% - UP from 40% yesterday and from 42.7% a week ago,

Good day for the NORTH WEST - not so good for GM.
Is this the beginning of the fallout of Wembley and surrounding areas?

Greater Manchester

Weekly total cases:-

Bury 946, Bolton 1138 , Tameside 1219, Trafford 1273, Stockport 1446 , Rochdale 1501 , Salford 1502, Oldham 1697, Wigan 2099 , Manchester 2960

Bury alone under four figures and nearly left there today as it is rising now too. Wigan topped 2000 weekly cases. Manchester looking at 3000 closely again,
