I can see the attraction of that but it's a step too far imo. It could set a dangerous precedent for other things like potential refusal of treatment for smokers with lung cancer or fatties with heart problems or anything where it could be deemed personal choice got them into the situation that needs treatment. It's not what the NHS has ever been about.
i see what you are saying, the subtle difference between those 'self inflicted' health problems and covid, is the fact that covid can and does infect others and delays others lives as you so rightly pointed out.

There is no getting through to them unfortunately, I was involved with a heated chat again after football last night. 6 of us, 2 of whom are double vaccinated, the other 4 completely anti vax. It was unreal the shit they were coming out with, not a prayer of getting any logic whatsoever. “Fit enough to take our chances, conspiracy, who knows what’s in the vaccine“ etc etc. I just gave up and switched subjects.
Let's hope they catch it then to protect the rest of the population

You don't even need an appointment to get the vaccine in the US now, you just show up and get the shot. Unfortunately we're now having 500+ people dying every day to show allegiance to Dumb Donald and "own the libs"
They’re doing a fine job of representing

Just read all the tweets..not good. Take the fucking vaccine
By the same token a large number of men die each year from prostate cancer which is almost entirely avoidable. Early signs (pissing probs) are obvious, so get checked out and live! One family member died last year and a close friend is dying now. Both ignored the signs.
