With regard to the passports, how will international travel fare?
Looks like domestically these now won't be introduced (but who knows atm) but I'm guessing you'll need some kind of proof to fly out to a lot of places?

A lot of countries remain closed so a lot does remain to be seen.

At present though, having proof you're fully vaxxed means some countries will forgo any testing requirements to get in, or forgo any isolation/quarantine that is otherwise applicable.

Long term, I think travel for anyone unjabbed (and not medically exempt) is going to be difficult. As a minimum there will be more hurdles for those people, but some countries might outright refuse to permit them entry or stipulate that if someone arrives unjabbed they have to do 2 weeks in isolation (essentially banning them without banning them)

If that happens, I will be sure to dig out my tiny violin for these anti-vax wankers.

the Blackpool coast area and the Fylde is now the new problem area of the North West.

In the sun and with the illuminations opening ON 14, 325 (slightly down).

ALSO VERY NOTABLE THAT SUNSHINE ARRIVES AND BOTH NORTH WALES AND THE LAKE DISTRICT HAVE SHOT UP IN NUMBERS IN THE PAST FEW DAYS

Chorley is UP again too on 13, 554 FROM 10, 046

Cheshire East - is still low but has gone UP again tracking Stockport on 9471 FROM 8156.

I suspect those that have been double vaccinated will be able to travel without tests and quarantine. Non-vaccinated people will have to test and quarantine.

That's the way it's being done here and quite a few other EU countries.

SCOTLAND DATA

0 deaths - was 0 last week - Sunday reporting means it is almost always 0

5912 cases - was 6368 last week - slight fall

11.5% positivity - was 14.2% last week - a good fall here

1019 patients - up 34 in day - was 719 last week - still rising by nearly 50% over week

SAD TO SEE THIS MILESTONE PASSED

88 ventilated icu - was 83 yesterday & 61 last week

HINTS OF SLOWING AS ZOE IS SEEING HERE BUT VERY SLOWLY IF SO

NORTHERN IRELAND DATA

6 deaths - was 7 last week

1031 cases - was 1232 last week

ALL WE GET AT WEEKENDS BUT THE VERY SLOW FALL IN NORTHERN IRELAND SEEMS TO BE CONTINUING

It was 1225 & 1485 ON THE TWO PREVIOUS SUNDAYS

ZOE SEEMS TO SUPPORT IT AS REAL HAVING N IRELAND THE LOWEST OF ALL THE UK NATIONS OR REGIONS

So the deaths from the three nations today are:- 14

Last week at this stage it was 10.

THAT BECAME 68 ON ALL SETTINGS LATER WHEN ENGLAND ADDED 58 (26 IN HOSPITAL AND 32 OUTSIDE)

And the three nation cases today total:- 9260

Last week it was 9989 at this stage

England later added 27, 022 to total 37, 011

Yesterday England added 23, 825

Zoe seems to be changing how they calculate/display every few weeks now. Makes it really difficult to accurately assess any trends. This graph is clearly completely different from the one I put up yesterday.
