Read line 4 of the post you replied to...1/5th of all UK hospitalisations from Covid are pregnant ladies. Did you miss that nugget last week? Its safer to be vaccinated if you're pregnant.

44k cases
223 deaths
But don't worry according to Sky BoJo is keeping a 'very close eye' on UK daily cases.
Good luck with the GP. Stay positive. Plenty of techniques people can use to help with memory. Mine went off a bit last year, but it seems to be more or less back to normal now.I had covid 12 months ago now and I'm still having long term problems, particularly with my memory. Booked in to see a GP to see if there's anything I can do. It's a nasty disease even if doesn't put you in hospital. It does worry me all these kids getting it at the moment, even if only 1 or 2% have long term problems it's a lot of people having to deal with some of the stuff I'm dealing with, it's not nice.
England 36, 712 cases - down 2761 on yesterday & up 3425 on last week
189 deaths - 25 out of hospital - up from 147 last week
Highest England deaths since 9 March.
%ages across the board. The only +ve for Scotland is the rate of increase has plateaued. How is it worse, ? I’d say it’s about half the rest of the UK rates.

Thanks, pal. I've heard if it does improve its somewhere between 12 and 18 months so fingers crossed. I guess as with lots of things related to the virus we are still finding out stuff about it.Sorry to hear.
I had memory problems this time last year after catching it in late March. If it's any help this problem went away after a year.
Catching Delta in July, with sniffles the only symptoms, didn't bring it back either.
Possibly due to reduced vaccine immunity.Exactly that (reason wise), although I'd say it rose then fell then plateaued and is now on the rise again, if that makes sense. % positive been edging upwards for a week or so now sadly.
Thank you!Good luck with the GP. Stay positive. Plenty of techniques people can use to help with memory. Mine went off a bit last year, but it seems to be more or less back to normal now.
Anytime I think I might be a bit off, I always ask myself what I had for my last few meals. Something about eating meals, remembering the taste and smell and putting it all at a specific time in the past helps anchor my recollection of recent days.
