Thank you. I guess I will let you know in a week or so. My six months is up on Monday and I assume I will get Pfizer too as I had AZ. Though I beleve they are using Moderna also in some cases.

I think reactions are very variable person to person so even *if* there's a trend on worse booster reactions, doesn't necessarily apply to you personally.

As far as a very quick search turns up, there's no published data on this, boosters seem to have been approved on the basis of interim trial readout.

Moderna is only a half dose so should have less side effects, if any. I’ll certainly be hunting Moderna out, following my 2 earlier Pfizer’s.

Do we know why that is? Is it something inherent in the virus? Does the uptick in cases spark preventive measures, ie people become more cautious, and the virus hits a wall? Vaccines prevent it becoming more serious?

Absolutely no idea. It is just an observation regularly made. (Not just by me either.)
