The mentality of being "happy" to be ordered when and where to work from by your government is frankly terrifying and mind-boggling to me.

It shows how easily manipulated people are I guess.

I didn’t get asked, had my flu jab a few days before and was feeling a bit shit, I wouldn’t recommend them both in the same week.

Had them both at the same time, one in each arm. No problems other than the usual aching arm for a day except it was both of them.

It shows how easily manipulated people are I guess.

It makes my job harder travelling 3 hours a day to the office and home.
To not have to do that makes a huge difference, can see my kid in the morning, don't have to travel to work, get to work from desk at home, music on, it's just a better way of life for me and i work better. just a shame my boss doesn't get that.

Not piling onto Bluehammer, but anybody that isn’t saddened and appalled at what this means (short and long term) is completely missing the point.
We’ve spent nearly 2 years being disrupted, with massive impacts on our kids lives, the long term impact of which won’t be known for a while.
We’ve shielded to protect the vulnerable off the back of a promise for things to open up once vaccinated. We’ve complied…and we’re back at square one if we’re now locking down again.
If a never ending cycle of locking down as new variants appear is the answer to the question, we’d better start asking different questions…because we’re fucking up the long term.

I think it just means blue hammer prefers working from home and it’s not something normally offered by his employer.
