Cars are inaminate objects. We can easily make a rule to stop you getting any treatment for shits and giggles.

The latest tweet from Chris Hopson, the head of the NHS providers seems to be more positive in terms of the severity of illness of patients entering hospital. The main issues appear to be keeping those people on separate wards and having staff available to look after them as well undertaking other services.

Im pretty sure market forces come into play. And if you offer more wages people will come. Hence the NHS is full of skilled people from all over the world. Very few ountries hold people against their will these days.
Agree the NHS today is made up of professionals from the four corners, but trying to get people during an epidemic, I think would prove fruitless.

We did, but many staff have been lost, but more importantly staff have been lost in care homes and care providers so bed blocking is much worse in hospitals and causing big issues. The places we used to recruit in the E U we no longer can. Brexit.
