I don’t see how any player can change clubs in the current scenario. Everything is on hold - including the transfer system.

think its been mentioned before, and those in the know correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't think contract law works like that

If the contract finishes on the 1st june it finishes on the 1st june. Unless you have something written into the contract saying if the season isnt finished etc. But why would you ?

Wouldnt it be the case that loan players would be back at their home club to ?

Exactly Karen7. All the debate on here and in the media, biased or not (clearly biased imho), is entirely irrelevant. Science, common sense and, hopefully responsible politicians will rule out mass gatherings for 18 months. You then either have to suck up the possibility of games behind closed doors when they are permitted or bin football until autumn 3021.

I am very critical of the PL and FA’s plans to restart the season (I think it should be binned with a view to create a plan to start the next season, perhaps in September/October, *if* we have a handle on the virus and general response by then)...

But even I think your assertion may be a bit of an overreaction! ;-)

Playing remaining games of the season behind closed doors is ridiculous for example the Dippers have already played oursleves and Everton in front of full house at their midden , their crowd put pressure on the referess's to give dubious decisions which helped them to victories. Two of their next three games are at Goodison & the Etihad in front of empty seats which a huge disadvantage to home sides
Just bin the season give the Dippers nothing but a pat on the back for being very very good , they have waited over thirty years , what's a few more between enemies , they can light their candles , have all night vigils , tie up the courts for the next 30 years looking for someone to blame , they are experts at self pity in fact they get a perverse enjoyment out of being martyrs , bring it on.

This break from football has put a lot of thing into perspective for me , ive done over 2000 games and supported the club for over 50 odd years and with recent statements from UEFA,Premeir league,the FA etc , whilst thousands are dying has left a mark on me.
Ive done with the greed of the game ,UEFA , the twisted media and disloyal footballers who are only out for their own gain , it is up to individuals to make their own decisions ,but i wont be attending games again , i will be an amrchair fan in the future with the volume muted.
Every credit to supporters who continue to support the club and go to matches , get behind the team and enjoy , if 99% of Dipper and Rag fans can be hardcore supporters from their living room, i am sure i can do the same with a new remote control and batteries.

The horse racing hasn't stopped at a lot of courses, Los Alamitos is under the Governor of California. First race tonight 2am BST. Also racing in the USA just tonight:

Oaklawn Park - Arkansas
Remington Park - Oklahoma
Tampa Bay Downs - Florida
Gulfstream Park - Florida

There isn't 'social distancing' even before races as most horses are ponied down to the start involving two homo sapiens right next to each other.
