Wont that cause potential problems too , Manchester is not that far from Liverpool, quite a few Liverpool fans live in greater Manchester, also the potential of City and United fans congregating to cause trouble to spite Liverpool.
I was too young and I know it was the old days but when liverpool played everton at Maine road early 80s in a cup match , was told that City and utd fans fought with liverpool and Everton that night.
