You are missing my point I do not think it’s easy to tell what the price of players are right now I am not saying hold off for long or miss out on anyone just long enough to know if the going rate for the top players is say 70 80 million or 30 40 why buy a player on day one of the transfer window for more 10a of millions more than you would pay a few days or weeks later
I didn't miss your point actually but it doesn't really matter.
I think it will depend upon the value of the player to City, the selling club we are dealing with and their economic situation , and beyond that other factors will no dout come into play.
I don't for instance think we will be following the OGS and the " utd way " of " let's rip the less forunate clubs off, because we are really rich " .
Anyway I guess we will see how it pans out before too long.
