Could we rescue Torres?

i know its possibly a tranfer question but i was thinking that we could get torres dirt cheap next season, his stock is at an all time low having now been dropped from the spain squad.if as they say that form is temporary and class is permanent then we could get a very very good player for around 10m. the lad would 100% score goals in our team. the other thing is by not throwing 40m at a striker we conform to the ffp much easier.

I'm telling you, you'd regret it.

I think we're trying to arrange some sort of deal with Atletico involving Falcao, a loan extension for Courtois and some cash. The story has been reoccurring in the Spanish rumour mill for several months.

not sure if i've mentioned this but i rate andy carrol, his off field antics though have let him down and its for certain bob wont wear owt like that.

No no no, there are so many better strikers out there now, not that we even need another striker.

I know how much we hate youtube clips, when players are concerned, but....this clip is from OUR league. We know when in form, this lad can destroy anyone, i'd have him in a heartbeat.

bad move bill. we couldnt afford the failure factor, we will be battleing for the title every season from now on any new strikers we buy have to hit the ground running

good shout, i`ve been thinking this for a while. i still think there`s a quality player in there just bursting to get out.

Remember all that,''I would never move to City,no history'' crap when he was at the dippers??? Then he fucks off to Chelsea for more money.He is a two faced **** of the highest order,he is pushing 30 and on a downward spiral.I am loving his downfall!
 
Torres needs to join a club that will be prepared to make him their main striker, a regular starter, build the team round him. At City he'd be down the pecking order and I cant really see him playing alongside Aguero.

He really needs to go back to Spain, back to Atletico.
 
I hope we thrash Chelsea,as we should have beaten them at the bridge.I also hope Torres and Sturridge flop and are hounded and mocked mercilessly!
 
It's a no from me as well. On form he's world class but he's not been on form now for what two years. Let someone else take the chance, assuming he leaves Chelsea. Our strikers are still improving so I agree with the other posters who want attacking midfielders. The player I would want is Valencia at United. Probably not prepared to leave United but you never know!
