SWMBO has Lymphoma so we need to be careful about what she's exposed to but we'd take in a Ukrainian if needed.. The only worry is not the fact that they are in the house but who they go out and meet and what they bring back..

I normally have a spare bedroom and would have been glad to help out. Unfortunately since storm Eunice it is now full of a lot of stuff from my lads house. He has had to move in with a mate since a huge poplar tree destroyed his roof, be about four months until he is back in.

I’ve only fully decorated one room in my flat so far. The place is a worksite. I doubt people would want to live here as it is. I reckon they’d put up with it in the immediate term just to get a roof over their heads, but they’d be applying to move out fairly quickly.
Would I? Possibly, but unlikely.
How do you know you aren’t taking in a criminal or a dodgy ****? Even just taking in an annoying bastard would be a nightmare, imagine taking in someone with your kindness and hospitality only for them to treat your home like shit.
I’m not sure I’d give my neighbour a spare key to get into my flat for an emergency if I was on holiday. In fact there’s only one or two mates I’d take in if they were in need.
