Days Hotel

Ha! I stayed in that hotel a few years ago. What a dump.

Highfield Road was a decent inner city ground with a big Marston’s pub nearby.

Obviously the restaurant must have been costing them a fortune to keep running so they've franchised it out and it's now a curry house. To be fair the food was really good as for everything else, well where do I start
An example being the fitness suite
Treadmill
Rower
Free weights and a bench
And that was it
So as I did my calf in playing football last Friday I thought I'd do half an hour rowing and then some weights
I set the rower up , first pull and the machine is broken!

Ha ha .. I remember not being able to lock the room door as it was fucked - apparently most of the other rooms were the same.
Sounds like they made the right decision turning the restaurant into a curry house - we ate in that place on the first night and it was terrible. Reminded me of school dinners.
