Funnily enough my two involve David Bowie.

His version of Across The Universe and with Jagger, Dancing In The Street (good cause but terrible execution)

Bowie made a few mistakes on the earlier albums with covers.. Fill Your heart should have been Bombers on Hunky Dory, Velvet goldmine should have replaced It Aint Easy and the worst of all is the horrible Let's Spend The night Together on Aladdin Sane.
