I'm not so sure that this is better than the original but it's a blinkin' good version. Dinosaur Jr's version of the Cure's Just Like Heaven. There is a live version filmed a couple of months ago on youtube which is top quality.

At the time albums were released on a Saturday and the Beatles went to see Jimi Hendrix on the Sunday. He did a version of Sgt Pepper's which blew them away and one of them (I think it was George said it was better than their version and they's spent a year or so recording it!)

I think it was George and Paul at the show. That whole show is available on dvd.

If I remember, Paul is wearing this white fur coat thingy. Very odd-looking
