Ebola was meant to be highly contagious and wipe out most of the world, the amount of shite on that then it disappeared, even a magical cure was made for an American citizen

Some of America's favourite countries seem to have it the worst, an interesting thing. I'm sure Iran and China's economy will suffer, the states will end up creating more jobs, a magical vaccine comes up then the markets sky rocket as its the only way it can go.

I'm still stocking up on beans though

I just don't know what's going on, there is so many conspiracy theories, a bit of drama and panic too. I'm not sure if its a storm in a tea cup or the real deal, but the past suggests its a storm in a tea cup.

Hard to tell whats true. alot of the scare stories have a self-fulfilling element - if you say the shops are going to sell out of hand sanitiser and anti-bac wipes everyone rushes out to stock up so it becomes true. From a govt perspective they are more likely to get pelters for being under prepared and doing nothing than for being over zealous, so there is almost a political incentive to treat this like a zombie apocalypse. Not sure if this is a bit of a UK thing - from what I can tell we are worrying more about Northern Italy than the Italians.

Well if you for example consider Milan, there have been 11 people who have resulted positive to the test in the city itself.
As for the deaths, I can't find specific locations either yet.

The numbers in Italy don’t seem to have increased that dramatically in recent days. Not when you consider that whenever there’s another outbreak elsewhere in the world, they nearly always blame it on people returning from Italy!

Yeah I feel like after the first days of slight panic, we're slowly stabilizing the situation and getting used to it (as is natural). The problem is the drain it is on the medical system and our economy as a whole.
As for tourists getting it, well, we are a generous people who likes to share with foreigners.
