Are you saying even the internet can get a flu bug ?

288 planes landing at Heathrow today from all around the world. And some people think this will all be over in a few weeks.
It's been bleeding obvious from the start. No, from way before the start. Years ago people were looking at everyone in Asia wearing masks when they had a cold and years ago we all realised it was to stop spreading the germs not to stop the wearer from catching them.Personally, I think enforcing the wearing of face masks would have had more effect on this crisis than shutting down everything. The evidence is now clear - PHE and the BBC were talking out of their backsides. Face masks protect the people you meet from you.
Wonder how many of these are virtually empty of passengers and only being flown so the airlines don’t have to refund passengers? Doesn’t that responsibility pass to insurance companies if flights run but FCO advice is not to travel?288 planes landing at Heathrow today from all around the world. This has been common knowledge for years, and now we seem to think this is some kind of new revelation, with newspapers saying (in terms) "have we got it alll wrong about face masks?" It really beggars belief.
How on earth can people commute on trains and the underground when standing in close proximity, WITHOUT everyone people wearing face masks??? It's insane.

Clever people and countries look around them and see what works and then incorporate it. I'm afraid the British have always had a we know best attitude, much to our detriment. It's been bleeding obvious from the start. No, from way before the start.
