But the boroughs are starting to bunch together in a way they always used to do with no huge gulf in numbers. Less than 100 between the scores of all ten for first time in a very long while.
Manchester 161 – up from 143. Total cases 30, 301. Weekly 1262. Pop score up 29 to 5481. Weekly Pop down 18 to 228.
Bolton 134 – up from 90 . Total cases 14, 676. Weekly 833. Pop score up 47 to 5104. Weekly Pop down 8 to 290.
Oldham 133 - up from 72. Total cases 14, 435.. Weekly 837, Pop score up 56 to 6088 , Weekly Pop down 12 to 353.
Wigan 122 – up from 112. Total cases 16, 036. Weekly 895.. Pop score up 37 to 4879. Weekly Pop down 26 to 269.
Rochdale 108 – up from 62. Total cases 12, 200. Weekly 749. Pop score up 48 to 5485. Weekly Pop down 38 to 336.
Stockport 101 – up from 49. Total cases 10, 257. Weekly 600. Pop score up 35 to 3496 Biggest rise in a few days here. Weekly Pop UP 2 to 205. Stockport rises as it had more cases than it did this day last week.
Bury 86 – up from 50, Total cases 9437. Weekly 534. Pop score up 45 to 4941. Weekly Pop down 24 to 279.
Salford 73 – up from 71. Salford doing better than Stockport is the biggest change in past week or so. Total cases 13, 078. Weekly 556. As you see – fewer cases than most of GM in the week including Stockport Pop score up 28 to 5053. Weekly Pop down 27 to 215 and almost caught Stockport for second spot in lowest weekly Pop. Huge turn of fortune for Salford and underperforming by Stockport.
Tameside 67 – up from 39 Total cases 10, 175. Weekly 493. Sub 500 for first time in months. Pop score up 29 to 4492. Weekly Pop down 5 239.
Trafford 64 – up from 33. Trafford now been under 100 for almost 2 weeks. Total cases 8521. Weekly 354. Lowest in GM. And lowest weekly numbers since early September. Pop score up 27 to 3590. The gap to Stockport for best in GM over the pandemic at 94 cut again and has more than halved in past week or so showing how well Trafford is doing. Weekly Pop up 14 due to higher numbers to 169. Lead over Stockport for weekly best in GM here falls to 36. And Salford joined the race here too after being in the UK top 5 worst a month ago.
