The lack of infrastructure has meant they are shoe horned into an environment that is dangerous.

It makes me so fucking angry that I have to pass a test, and pay ridiculous insurance to be on a road whilst fucking cyclists don't do a thing other than have the brass neck to pipe up when someone calls them out.

When they pay what I do and are subjected to the same things I am on the road, then they can come and have a go.

Until then they can fuck right off.

You really need to stop this angry nonsense towards cyclists because with that silly attitude you are going to hurt one of them. You should try cycling it is great exercise, and you will also appreciate how vulnerable someone sat on 2 wheels around a very angry man behind a heavy powerful motorised piece of metal is. Roads are not solely for motorists however much you both misunderstand that and dont like the fact.
Cyclists have cars too and so pay tax and insurance. Proper cyclists will have cycle insurance too because of people like you with dangerous disregard to them. As Im sure you know angry hostile drivers makes for bad driving.
Lots of things will change for the better as a result of the virus. More people will work from home when able. Shift times may be staggered to prevent everyone from being in at once and this will also prevent the awful rush hour gridlick. And people may also cycle more and avoid cars as a result, which only provides wider benefits to health.
But not so long as people like you demonstrate hostility like that.

Good point.

Cannot imagine why the UK would have difficulty other than getting a conclusion that is maybe inconvenient to their plans or previous decisions?

Alternatively we must suspect the results from Spain and its references to other global studies on the same subject.
