Ive watched every daily briefing for the last month. Couple of days ago 17% of people in London have had it, c5% in the rest of the country. How does that equate to 2.5% overall ??
The most southerly point in Brazil is 33 deg south, the equivalent of Malta, Gib, and Bermuda, the majority of it is equatorial, so not really much "winter" to be had.It's the start of their winter, make of that what you will.
It's already been pointed out that the 0.25% of population figure was from a real study of tests over 7 a day period a couple of weeks ago, that actually had it, and not the total of the population having had it.Actually I see you said 0.25% !! Can you clarify that ?
According to the briefings,they give ,i think a two week period and the % is how many had it at any one time,positive test ,it was 0.27% now it is 0.25% 160,000 ish people,it is a new slide we have only had for a couple of weeks,what that means i don't know,give me a min and I will find it on the SAGE or PHE sitesActually I see you said 0.25% !! When it's reliable I'm sure it will be, but its pointless having a test that could be wrong, and since it doesn't prove immunity anyway, it could encourage more cummings and goings because people feel safer knowing they've had it.The antibody test is the one they need to roll out pronto.
What was the result Blue. I had mine at 2pm on Friday,got a negative result by email at 10.30pm tonight. Still got the symptoms I had on Thursday night to prompt me to go online with 111 and received a phone call 2 hours later, so from my understanding I still need to self isolate for 7 days or until I feel better.All four of us had a test on Friday at 3pm. Got the results tonight on email at 10pm.
The antibody test is the one they need to roll out pronto.
