The 763 cases today were from 154, 946 tests. 56,000 up on yesterday.

130,611 of these were pillar 1 and 2 versus 82, 265 yesterday.

So that puts the increase into better context.
 
Northern Ireland. Nobody admitted to hospital at all with Covid there since 22 July.

just 5 in hospital and 1 on a ventilator.

Hence no deaths in ages

This fits in well with Pep's philosphy, surely - anybody in an old fashioned forward line - cf, ir, il, lw, rw - would be expected to be able to perform in any one of them.
 
Wales numbers 56 admitted to hospital yesterday (up from 43 day before)

Numbers in hospital have risen in the week from 118 to 138.

Numbers on ventilators here have risen from 7 to 13 over last 3 days.

Wales (as the 5 deaths today imply) is the big problem area in the UK, Especially when you see that North Wales stands out on a map of Europe as having higher numbers than you should expect,

I don't know why Banjani keeps bringing you into our disagreement. Your post in here are invaluable and i read them every day. For clarity i have no beef with you whatssoever.
 
England - just 27 admitted to hospital Monday (latest figures) The lowest since the records start.

Patients in England hospitals at 850 - lowest number since records started on 20 March when there were already 1541 in England hospitals with Covid.

Seven days ago the number was 1210. Though it fell to1017 on 23 July and has been sub 1000 ever since.

England patients on ICU ventilator beds today are 72 - 6 down on yesterday. Six days ago it was 102 so that is a big fall in ventilator cases.

I don't have any beef with anyone. Figures are figures. Opinions are opinions. Its a forum. Both are welcome.

But I dont mix the two as the figures are neutral. So I just post them that way and whether the trend is up or down.

My views on the politics have changed a lot over the months as they react to events. But I keep them out of here so as not to taint the data.
