GM scoreboard:

Bolton 16 (down from 24 but worse 3 days since lockdown whilst they were being negotiated out of it!). 302 in month. 91 past week. 40 over 2 days (was 35). Pop score has rocketed by 18 in those two days to 796. 800 club tomorrow.

Bury 8 (down from 9), 233 in month. 61 past week. 17 over 2 days (was 17). Pop score here rose to 825 fast too.

Manchester 28 (down from 36 - bit better). 995 in month. 229 past week. 64 over 2 days (was 77). Pop score 765. Another big rise in 2 days.

Oldham 8 (way down from 31 to best score in lockdown here). 756 in month. 136 past week. 39 over 2 days (was 66). Pop score 1213 - joined the 1200 club yesterday as only the third place in the UK to do so.

Rochdale 9 (down from 17 - good day here too). 432 in month. 96 past week. 26 over 2 days (was 49). Pop score 1005 - probably yesterday it became the second in GM to go into four figures here alongside very few other UK towns.

Salford 14 (up from 11). 332 in month. 72 past week. 25 over 2 days (was 29). Pop score 690 - not looking like regaining that t op spot here with the 700 club looming,

Stockport 4 (down from 6 - continuing low run now 2 weeks long). 229 in month (by chance same as Manchester in just past week). 33 past week (regains this title today too from the other low scorer Wigan). 10 over 2 days (was 9). Pop score 674 - gap to Salford has widened and likely to be last in the 600 club over coming days.

Tameside 22 (up from 11 to highest number here in 3 weeks - local outbreak?) 303 in month. 83 past week. 33 over 2 days (was 21). Pop score 845 (biggest GM rise today of 15 as 22 is a huge number for this small area - given the border with Stockport might spill over here too).

Trafford 11 (down from 17- better). 243 in month, 72 past week. 28 over 2 days (was 32). Pop score 703 - joined the 700 club in past couple of days with the bigger numbers).

Wigan 6 (up from 2). 132 in month (easily lowest in GM). 39 past week. 8 over 2 days (was 8). Pop score 703.

Other watch spots Blackburn low again at 8 (after 7 and 10 in past 2 days), Pop score 1217.

Bradford 68 (over the 2 days of data so much as it has been for a while per day). Pop score 1142.

Leicester 18 (over 2 days) continuing its escape from high numbers. Pop score 1606 but if it carries on like this will be a while before it gets near the 1700 club.

Hospital data is actually good news too.

Patients in N Ireland 17 (up 2). Wales 41 (down 7). Scotland 258 (up 3). And England 430 (down 19).

So total here 746 - down 21.

Ventilator patients N Ireland 2 (same). Wales 3 (down 3). Scotland 5 (up 2). England 52 (down 10).

So total here 62 - a fall of 11.

Finally regional hospital numbers in England:

East Patients was 27 UP to 28

South East was 38 DOWN to 32

South West was 14 DOWN to 13

London was 77 DOWN to 75

Midlands was 126 DOWN to 117

Yorks was 82 DOWN to 78

And North West was 85 UP to 87.

So North West one of only two regions to go up not down but both involved adding 2 or less patients.

And same data for ICU Ventilator beds

East was 5 DOWN to 4

South East was 6 UP to 7

South West was 2 is 2.

London was 16 DOWN to 12.

Midlands was 10 DOWN to 6.

Yorks was 9 is 9.

And North West was 14 DOWN to 12.

So only 2 areas now with double digit ventilator patients.

Over the last 7 days patients and ventilator beds

N Ireland 22 to 17 and vent 0 to 2

Wales 55 to 41 and vent 6 to 3

Scotland 254 to 258 and vent 2 to 5

England 480 to 430 and vent 64 to 52.

So some up some down and over the week patients in UK hospitals fell from 811 to 746 and ventilator beds from 72 to 62.

So the direction is still positive.

That will be it after a long day. Have a good evening.

Hi and good evening. Firstly thank you for all the work you do on this thread making it digestible reading for the masses. I wonder if you could do me a favour and give me your take on Spain. I notice from the WHO website the infections are increasing at worrying levels. What is your take on Spain for the next fortnight and do you see a continuation of the trend.
