I have been all over the area in the last 2 days. Everywhere is packed and most seem to be taking the locallockdown as a joke. Very worrying
This pretty much nails it. My thoughts too.I think it’s going to be hard to enforce these restrictions now. At the time of the first outbreak, nobody knew who was going to die from this. It was all unknown pretty much. Young people now know that they are extremely unlikely to die from this and that is enough for most to just get on with it.
I was reading some stats on the ONS site earlier and saw that deaths in people under 45 total 600 out of the total number with the vast majority being over 65 and the majority of those younger ones will have had underlying health issues.
I can see why younger people are now prepared take the risks they are taking. It’s not helpful to the older population but at 18 I’m not sure I would have been compliant.
I can’t see how lockdowns etc are going to stop this and it won’t be solved until we either find a cure or a vaccine.
At the start of this it was very effective for a good reason, non essential travel wasn't allowed, and we were only allowed out once per day for exercise, that's the only way really, however draconian it is, it works.I can’t see how lockdowns etc are going to stop this

Mice are almost impossible to infect with covid 19, and those that get it get it very mildly.
Been working tonight. Every pub and bar was choca block inside and out with 18-30s. Didnt see many grown ups about really. Those were out may as well have been on top of eachother. A lot were students but in the fancier places it was just as daft. No social distancing or apparantly any fucks given. There was a Wetherspoons in the middle of it and this week 8 staff there have tested positive including one in hospital with it. What the fuck is up with people?
