Fucking simpletons mate. How much of an inconvenience can it possibly be?

We are working outside putting up the towns xmas lights etc and even wearing them outside because of the way people are around here.
Have a building site opposite our yard, first thing the morning they all shake hands with each other and at dinner time all walk around the town and shops without masks....getting scary now.

And this is why we can have all the plastic lockdowns the Govt demands, but as long as we allow bellends to walk around behaving as they want.....this virus isnt going to subside or go away anytime soon.

Scottish data . Sadly not good again.

39 deaths

1216 cases at 7.6% - good decrease there.

481 Greater Glasgow, 236, Lanarkshire, 125 Lothian , 80 Ayrshire

1252 in hospital (-5)

95 icu ventilators (+1)

Furlough is extended until March. Unprecedented support from the government. Well done them.

Something I've been thinking about for the past week or so, that case numbers may be plateauing but hospital figures are 100% slowing. Every day it was +40 or +50 for ages so why would it slow to such an extent (or even reduce as we've seen today) if the raw infection figures are still as high? I don't get that?

The numbers are slowing but 50 people were reported dead yesterday so that would have been a factor contributing to the reduction in today’s hospital numbers.

The furlough extension to the end of March is unexpected but welcome news. I’m just wondering if part of the reason for that is because a vaccine is close and they’re hoping/expecting us to finally get on top of this virus by the time the latest extension is over.
