Unfortunately its a bit like a parking fine, administered by the Council, so common sense can be sadly lackingI’d be surprised if anyone is prosecuted for taking their kids out of school from next week onwards. Can’t see it being in the public interest.
That said, nothing genuinely surprises me these days so probably best not to listen to me!

viruses has no boarders to respect so IMO there is no reason to expect it any different but on the other hand we have all seen mouldy green dotted bread, now lets pretend that bread is the earth and the green is the virus, all the bread does not go green at the same time it seems to concentrate on certain parts so if you get my drift it may be the same hereIs there any sensible reasoning to say that pretty much the whole world won’t face the same levels of infection that China, and now are Italy, are suffering from?

Bit of both but we have just had a close family member diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.....would have thought it will prove deadly should they contract the virus.

With all this nonsense about how safe or dangerous it is, it's easy to be alarmed . However for children it genuinely does appear actually to be milder than flu. Unless a child has a quite severe coexisting illness every indication is that they will be absolutely fine.Listen mate I hope I am overreacting.

no, for the child to be in school it has to be 100% certain for a parent that the child will be fine in the event of contamination even at 99.9% is not good enough, it has to be the parents decision and theirs only, the local council should have no imput on this whatsoever, family units could have grand parent living at home or other set ups, any parent will know when the time is right to pull them out,IMO go ahead and do itWith all this nonsense about how safe or dangerous it is, it's easy to be alarmed .
