Anyone with a non essential work should remind their employers about the gov help,they have no excuse to expect their staff in if it not an essential job

My main ongoing symptoms are a scratchy dry cough, a feeling in my chest of having to hack something, a headache (probably from the coughing)

My wife is also starting a cough today :(

Sore eyes have definitely been symptoms for some people. Get yourself checked or ring 111!

My take is that if the business is open and you can not undertake your job from home then you are expected to go to work as normal. Once you have finished at work you go home and stay home.

But that's fucking crazy if you end up mixing with a bunch of people ( who in my experience) Do NOT practice social distancing.

There should be a sense of shame in this country that it came to this.

It was given an opportunity (wrongly in my view) to take personal responsibility and basically stuck two fingers up to it.

Sounds like something else,the virus really hits you hard especially the cough and breathing,if either of you have really difficulty breathing you need to go on 111 on line or phone or if really bad then 999,it is important to remember that it won't be really bad in MOST people and there are plenty of other cold like bugs out there
