Right.
But this pub has never done so before. And reading govt rules only allowed to do this if previously sold takeaway food.
If this is the case why are all pubs not doing it?
Why would anyone want to go to the pub and buy takeaway booze?
Beer not cheaper in supermarket?

I'd say that if you are wiping things down with anything, its better than not doing it, and make sure you properly wash your hands at the end.

We've taken similar precautions, all shopping is wiped down in one area, then transferred to a "clean" area to be stored away, then the "dirty" area cleaned with a spray, and anything used, keys, wallet etc.

What we're doing may not be 100% effective, but its got to cut the risk from doing nothing at all.

I wear gloves when I do the shopping and remove them once I’m in the car (taking care not to touch the outside of them!). Glad to see I’m not the only one obsessed with cleaning things down (including keys etc). I’ve even started cleaning the letterbox- inside and out!

Infection rate on the rise again in Germany.

Scary. It's been a bit up and down since they relaxed things, so let's hope the next move on the R rate is downward again. It will fluctuate and we have to be mindful of that. But rising above 1 is cause for concern if it doesn't quickly revert back below that baseline.

I'll be watching their infection figures with interest in the coming weeks.

I think you're far from alone, you've just got to laugh at the irony of wiping down a cleaning spray or packet of wipes with a wipe.
