Isn't this so bloody obvious.

And yet for weeks and weeks we had that moron Witty and his band of cretins, advising government ministers without a science o-level between them, that there was no need to wear them and no benefit in doing so. So that was the moronically stupid and wrong advice being pedalled.

And yet all the time we could see how effective mask-wearing was in Asian countries. An effective solution was right there in front of us.

The government's persistently wrong advice on something as important as this ha been a bloody bloody disgrace.
Morons and cretins, really? They didn't want people taking them away from the front line and care homes which was right, wearing masks has behaviour consequences

I've noticed a big difference in availablity between the different supermarkets when shopping for my Mum near Stockport vs me in North Bristol. We've had almost no luck getting Morrisons deliveries, but have been able to get Tesco's ones if we keep trying.

And we can get Morrisons stuff next day via Amazon, Mum cannot - they don't deliver to her area.

But your point about food boxes is a great one. Our local butchers do them and have been great
We've had bread boxes from the local bakery, a box of free fish from Morrisons and the local fruit and veg supplier too. I've actually been to the supermarket just once since 9th March yet have eaten very well indeed. It's cost a lot more than normal but luckily we can afford it. Others might be less fortunate.
Milkman have made a comeback which is great for the elderley, they are doing bread and other things as well so at least the basics are definitely in

Best of luck reopening mate - what area of Scotland? That must have been tough for her and you both. Thanks god that has been relaxed a little

We 'breached' on Tuesday and had a visit from my daughter and grandaughters in the back garden social distancing. So hard not having a cuddle from them. My daughter is a community nurse so phase 1 means she is back to home visits.

The only bit I don't like is you are expected to carry out exercise and the outdoor sport (fishing) within your own area which is defined as 5 miles. I will need to travel a bit further than that to my favourite fishery down near Coldingham. Hmmm.
We are in the Borders, so done some great walks during lockdown, don’t really need to travel for exercise etc, but will be driving to wherever we meet up with our daughter next weekend. Think on the whole Scotland has been pretty good during lockdown, Portobello yesterday the exception, I think a bit of rule bending over travel distances is okay doubt Coldingham will be too crowded.

To bloody true.
And yet Whitty, Vallance and the rest of the Quatermas team are STILL peddling the line that it doesnt effect transnission much. I call that out as complete bollox. The science is now clear and the figures are fucking stark.
Immediate near universal (80%+) adoption of moderately (50%) effective masks could prevent on the order of 17–45% of projected deaths over two months of an epidemic.

Why not simply tell the truth and they didn't want the UK public grabbing all the surgical marks that were available because the NHS needed them? Most would have taken that message to heart.
They were following the WHO advice on wearing masks

Got my City face coverings sorted for my football mad daughter and myself. Hopefully they turn out as good as they look on the website. If we will be wearing them for the foreseeable future I like having a City one.

187 England hospital deaths. 44 yesterday First time over 40 reported on the day in 6 days. Slight rise Nothing drastic as daily fluctuations are bound to occur. But not out of the woods yet. Is still down from 47 seven days ago.
