I also haven't seen my parents for months.

I also have empathy for my fellow man, especially those who have STRICTLY followed THE GOVERNMENT'S guidelines and haven't been able to see people get laid to rest, for example.

2. Low-risk exposure (casual contact)
• A person who was in a closed environment with a COVID-19 case for less than 15 min or at a distance of more than 2 metres
• A person having had face-to-face contact with a COVID-19 case for less than 15 min and at a distance of less than 2 metres
• Traveling together with a COVID-19 case in any kind of conveyance.
Longer duration of contact increases the risk of transmission; the 15-minute limit is arbitrarily selected for practical purposes. Based on individual risk assessments, public health authorities may consider expanding contact tracing and management to persons who had a shorter duration of contact with a case.”

As I say, someone/anyone in the same vehicle as someone infected for any length of time (and certainly four hours), has a high risk of contracting the virus.

Where in all that does it explain or quantify the risk to society as a whole (which is all that counts) of one man with his family making one journey which is the point I was discussing before you so rudely attacked me.

By the way, no percentages no figures, no quantification just a copy and paste job done from a rudimentary google search.

It is with the child but not the adults. Both your sister and your wife's sister are family to your children and in laws to you and partner. should you split and get divorced they would still be family to your kids but your wife's sister would no longer be related to you unless you married her of course.

Oh God I hope so. We booked for Nerja in January, the only holiday resort we have ever wanted to revisit. I'm still not holding out much hope, even though our holiday is booked for September, but thanks for posting ;-)

Right at this moment you'll be fine. It all depends on how deescalation goes and what effect opening the borders fully will have. Right now Spain is in a very good place and my village is about 80% open I reckon.

I hope so ;-) It's understandable that the continent wants to open up tourism to overseas, especially as it's as much as 10 percent GDP to some of those countries. Both me and my partner are healthy for our age and willing to take the risk. I've only ever been to Spain just once, to Nerja, but it is beautiful and I need something to look forward to. That's not being "selfish" just realizing that life needs to go on if possible.

Well if my holiday home in Norfolk is still shut in July I will be off to my favourite place in Spain,Santa Pola.
