FFS that's a lot,I was 'hoping' for 4.5k maximum.6178 new cases today!!!
This ecalating faster and surely now a real problem .

Given those really bad numbers the regional scoreboard is actually OK locally.
London 531 - up from 354 to new record here. - more than double 4 days ago
Midlands 898 - up from 590 - huge rise here. Also double four days ago.
But North West: 1267 - DOWN over 100 from 1381 (and second lowest in past week despite the huge UK rise).
Perhaps the first hint restrictions are biting up here. And cases have become more widepread across the UK.

Yep, still laughablei recall a channel 4 interview back in early feb/march with a Scientist
he said, the best way would be to move anyone the age over 60 or something to one part of the country and the rest go about business as usual - i thought it was laughable at the time but looking back...

Compared with a couple of weeks ago the numbers are significant.
Mary had a little bug
The one they call Corona
She caught it at a Catch-up
Wi her pals, Yvette and Shona.
Who else was there?

Now Shona’s blue, in ITU,
Too breathless when she speaks.
Mary had a little cough
She didnae wear a mask
Instead she wore a sticker
Saying “I’m exempt, don’t ask”
Coughing in the kitchen
As she plated up the scones,
Then a round of filtered selfies
Using all The Girls i-phones.
Mary had a little bug
And now so does her Granny,
Her boss, her son,
His pal, his mum
‘Cos Mary is a fanny.
