I agree with WW. The issue with Trump is he isnt a career politician and speaks as it is - whilst recognising his approach, unlike the typical politicians approach is likely to upset or offend a few.

It is time politics got a bit more real in this country instead of Hancock continually lying to try and save his own chameleon skin.

The reason he wins is that whilst people read his quotes, adopt subsequent faux outrage, and feign incredulity that he dares say such words, they're silently nodding. And voting. For him.

Reinfection rate..... will dig out the 60% article, there has to be a reason why their reinfection rate is massively less than ours when compared to the overall population.

Sweden 4772 new infections over the last 14 days, the UK 116946.

Why is our current (over the last 14 days) infection rate 24 times that of Sweden when our population is only 6 times that of Sweden? The theory is the herd immunity principle - what else could it be?

i'm not sure there is a scientific mainstream anymore, i'm seeing a split of two sizeable chunks (perhaps not down the middle) and some smaller chunks leaning in different directions. I think this situation is getting a little like party politics now, as in one side has the govt's ear more than others, but it is not necessarily split on traditional party lines. It's a really weird one, there are top scientists with distinguished careers in multiple camps now.

(however a prevalent attitude amongst many that ive attempted to get a summary on is that being sensible and not taking the piss for a while is a good thing to do)

Ok fair enough, I have to say I find alot of the things he comes out with as narcissistic and he certainly doesnt help himself sometimes with his childish comments. Today he discharged himself even though he was still contagious, his subsequent speech was all about him with no. thought about the people he had put at risk unecesarilly. His economic policies are ok. His trade stand off with China will probably pay dividends for the US in the long run. And i like the fact that he went and spoke to the North Korea leader. But I dont find him at all gracious or pleasant as a human being. I cant really equate with him being a great leader.

His approach to Kim Jung Un was entirely the right approach imo.
