Covid and travel discussion

Has anyone flown to the USA yet? Saying you have to have an antigen test before you go regardless of vaccination and it also says “recommended” you get a test 3-5 days after arrival, so I’m assuming that’s not mandatory?
 
Just cancelled our Vegas trip in March, still have testing in place, mask wearing everywhere just can’t see the point of going. Of to Benidorm in two weeks for 3 nights hopefully no restrictions are brought in before then.

Flew to Florida last week, you need an antigen test within 3 days of arrival if your double jabbed.The 3-5 day test isn’t mandatory.
Masks only compulsory at the airport, everywhere else it’s optional like the UK.
Presumably each state will have its own rules.

We had to pay the balance this week and with the way Europe is locking down the USA I expect won’t be far behind in some states just can’t be arsed with it all
 
Really nice to see the fiestas Mayores Patronales in honour of the Virgen del Sufragio and San Jaime going ahead after last years cancelation.

The fiesta dates back to March 1740 when a boat appeared just of the coast of Benidorm dragged in by a violent storm. The boat was burned to prevent an epidemic, but local boys found an image of the Virgin in the rubble and took here to the local church, later a chapel was built. This is the story that forms a large part of the November fiesta and each year the story is re-told on Poniente beach on Saturday.

Benidorm November Fiestas always begin on the Friday of the second weekend of November and officially end the following Wednesday with a spectacular Firework display. The English Fancy dress as usual will be on Thursday the 18th on the Calle Gerona and looking forward to some tip top costume throughout the day.

Not quite a holiday, but going to Leipzig in a few weeks to watch the CL game. First trip abroad since the pandemic, can't wait. Just hope our summer holiday (which has been put back twice) gets to go ahead next year. Need a week in the sun.
 
Flew Max 8 and a really nice modern aircraft. On taxi-ing out to runway niner we passed another 10 Tui planes and 8 were of the 737 Max 8 variety. Maybe they secured a good deal from Boeing?
