It's a fucking joke tbh. Benidorm has basically decided to fuck off masks in bars etc (it's still the law here) and now there's spikes all over our region due to many driving up there for weekends and bringing the virus back with them.
It'll be even worse in a couple of weeks because the fiesta going on atm isn't the official one, that's cancelled, its just one big fancy dress party for dickheads galore to spread the love...and Covid.
Be a good week to carpet bomb the place.

FYI the Mayores Partinales is the original one and started Saturday 13th and is due to end Wednesday the 17th with the usual firework finale in the Spanish Quarter.

The fancy dress is on Thursday on Calle Gerona. What you coming as ..a trainee corpse.

Why would I go Taxi? It'll be full of the worst type of Brits I can imagine.
I know you get upset when I have a go at the Brits abroad, and I'd like to caveat that by saying they aren't all bad of course but then I've got a little bit more experience of them than you have due to living in and around Spain and the canary Islands and having interest in bars here for 20 odd years. So yeah, I can be a little bit flippant when talking about Benidorm, but my ire is aimed at a certain type which I'm sure you don't fall under due to being a fine upstanding member of society.
Don't forget to wear your mask and social distance, mate. :-)
