Hopefully we can see out the day!
Seriously though Root should be emphasising that we still need to be batting on Friday morning.That means we would have a massive score and leave 2 days to bowl them out.There is no pressure on any of the batsmen in this innings.Play each ball on merit.
 
Assuming we don't have the default collapse, and going on Headingley's reputation, what do we think is a potentially winning lead on first innings? 200?

Batting 4th means we need to be making this innings count. I wouldn't be surprised to see us skittled in the 4th innings for a similar score so we need to be looking at a lead of 250 I reckon and even then it will be tight. We won 3 of the 5 days at Lords but still managed to be abysmal enough on the days we didn't to lose the test from a winning position!
