Agree. It needs to be played throughout the season again, but I'm not sure whether there is an appetite for that or whether that has been decided. I know the Championship is returning to two divisions (10 and 8), but the ECB states on its site that: 'The ECB is aiming to announce fixtures no earlier than the end of November.'

I added the emphasis there as it's such an unusual phrasing (no later than is more common). Maybe if this tour carries on in the same vein, it will be forced to have the 14 games played throughout the season.

England have become so dependent on Root that you have to wonder about the effect him getting out has on the mentality of the other batsmen. They just seem to crumble.

No idea captain wise maybe stokes but there ain’t any all the coaching and the manager seems like it’s a pals act to nice!
