Why is this happening? No disrespect to The Netherlands but why expose them to a premier cricket country?

This England ODI side is going to be mythical in 10, 20 years time, it's good to see them tour around and for everyone to see it. The Roy, Bairstow, Malan,Butler, Morgan, Stokes and now Livingstone batting line up has changed ODI cricket.
I suspect the Netherlands know this too, because they put England in to bat first which is maximum entertainment for the crowd.

Yeah but they're just that good. They did it to Australia a few years ago, they've done it to Pakistan, West Indies, South Africa.
The Nethelands are obviously a second rate side, and their fielding in particular is poor, but if you're a Dutch cricket fan, it must be good to see probably the best ODI batting line up ever do their thing.

That was great to watch however pointless it is.

You jinxed it!
Also the umpire didn't call a really blatant no ball for a waist high full toss which would have in all likelihood given them 500.
Good to leave something to aim for on Sunday though.
