Whereas Bairstow only averaged about 230 for the match.
I‘d give it Leach though, simply for confidence. Not sure Johnny needs much of that at the moment.

Atherton is an England fan, Boycott is a Boycott fan.Knowing Boycott, he'll probably be a moaning **** about it. Yet the likes of Atherton - who also wasn't renowned for fast scoring - isn't arsey about it at all

Just tuned in because I was faffing around (among other things, posting on another thread here) and I thought, oh, they need 113, it's been raining, I've got all the time in the world. Then I tune in and I see this!
England are a destruction machine at present. The game with India will present a stiffer test, perhaps, but it should now be very, very interesting..

What’s crazy about this run chase is that it only took 4 more overs than the one at Trent Bridge, on a bigger ground with more bowler friendly conditions.
The outfield was also ridiculously fast at Trent Bridge. This has been noticeably slower.
