Maybe get Buttler into open, bat them out of the game?Yes.

Where we will either be 450 all out in 60 overs or 27 all out off 5.Maybe get Buttler into open, bat them out of the game?
We haven't won the last 3 series against them so I think we need a new attacking plan.

Their bowling attack is far better than ours.If we could get 1 or 2 of the fast bowlers fit like archer or wood then we could be in with a chance
I don't think the Aussies are an outstanding team, but just a good team on their own patch, much like England are at home
as for the positive batting style, it has to stay, because it worked so well, you could see the players wanting to play that way and enjoyed it so carry on please
Butler is favourite for the next white ball captain. Suggests his test days are over. We’re not far apart here! The “feud” may die soon…
Stokes has done for the team what Vaughan did after Hussain. No fear mindset and positivity after a turgid time. (Along with McCullum too)
The Ashes next year could be another 2005, we could hammer them or lose 5-0. That’s how random our results might be if we play win at all costs cricket.
We still need at least one opener. Maybe 2. If we’re going all out attack, then I can see Buttler returning as an opener.
Potts looks an inspired pick.
We shall see! It’s nice to be more positive about English cricket for a change.
Not sure why players can’t play multi format anymore, but it seems to be rarer.Butler is favourite for the next white ball captain. Suggests his test days are over.
Mental and physical health is behind it.Not sure why players can’t play multi format anymore, but it seems to be rarer.

Absolutely, but that was probably the first time there has been a crossover of formats playing simultaneously. The scheduling of the Netherlands matches suggested otherwise!
It does seem to be a matter of managing the time for the random one-day series that litter the landscape. I guess it's to make it possible to split the longer tours into two captains.
