Archers first 2 overs set the tone, bloody shocking, not for the first time, I don't see the point of 93mph shite.

Don't think we'll quite manage this one but it's an entertaining watch. In years gone by I would've switched this game off ages ago but with the current England team anything feels possible.

Also... Is it just me or is the 'obvious joke' laughing guy from Family Guy at the ground?

Really good Australian bowling and some fine catching didn't let England get going. 3-26 off 10 is amazing going. Roy could barely lay bat on ball, and others weren't any better to start with.
That was after Australia were reduced to 132-5 by good English bowling but a fast 125 was added in 10 overs and they didn't even need to slog to get to nearly 300 - I think it would have been close to a record chase on an awkward pitch.

Agnew thinks they may be using the same pitch on Sunday - that might be quite a dead pitch.

I really enjoyed tonight's game, nip and tuck pretty much all the way through, had Jonny B not holed out we'd have won, and could have still won if Moeen hadn't gone cheaply.

Very good game though, now we need to win 2 in a row.
