It looks more playable than the last test to me. India just have high class spinners and most of England's batsmen are not up to it. Look at Axar, these are his first two tests and he's got the top order on toast.

And India had no real problem in the last match.

It'll be interesting to see how they go later, as that will show if it's generally difficult or if England are just making a mess of it. The pink ball might be soft before it's dark at this rate.
 
God this is intense bowling from Ashwin. Reminds me of peak Warne in the 2005 Ashes where every ball bowled gives you butterflies in your stomach...

The big difference to Chennai is that there the ball was breaking through the top surface from the first over. Here it's a firm surface, no dust coming up, just the ball gripping well and aiding turn.
