Might seem weird to say it, but SA have got to feel that they've got away with one there. When you think that they were 52 for 6, they've fought a pretty good rearguard action. Given the loss of two days, anything other than a draw seems doubtful to me. Can we really get in, get a big innings, and bowl them out again? If we'd mopped them up for about 75, even 80, it would have been a different story.

When you look at Crawley been struggling like from the moment he has been picked he hasn’t improved or getting the runs deserving of a place then you look at Pope moving up to 3 struggling a bit then now looks like his class is coming through! Are England just going to keep picking Crawley till he retires in 10 years! There is only probably Gatting who got well long before he came good..
