At the end of play what score will you be happy with?

280/4 with KP still in and it would of been a good day
Wouldn't be a bad end of play score tbh
I think we may just get over 300 especially if this run rate keeps at 3.5

Yep Trott has come in and played like its a one dayer :)
Didnt we get nearly 400 on the first day last time round over here, when the pitch was good
Can't remember the test.

Whatever.
I am going to be an Aussie for this series, just for the fun of it and the "we will fuck them over" attitude of English fans, never under estimate the Aussie's vs England.
Even though they may not be at their best, when it comes to the Ashe's, it is like City vs the rags,(when the rags were way ahead of us) anything can happen.

Didn't the convicts have a similar 'we will fuck them over' attitude back when they were good and, er, fucked us over?
Were you an England fan then?
Or do you simply support whichever country is losing? :)

I must admit that i am mostly an underdog supporter, being a City fan how could you not.
I have suffered many, many years of England being taught how to play cricket by the Aussies, family and friends never failed to mention it and i stood proud (even though i don't really give a fuck about cricket) in England's defense.
Now though, i see the arrogant attitude the Aussie's had being replicated in the English attitude, raggish if you will. Do not like it.
Always respect your opponent, a lesson our players could learn from.
Fuck the convicts, we will destroy them, nothing wrong with arrogance when you back it up.

-- Wed Jul 10, 2013 12:35 pm --

I would quite like to break 400 like we did in 2005.

Re: ********The Ashes********

We got 407 at Edgbaston on the first day of the second test. Gave us a bit of momentum after being destroyed in the first test.

If they keep bowling at Trott's pads we could be 350 by the end of the day.

If Trott keeps this rate up and KP gets in full flow and they bat together for a couple of hours then 350-400 is on the cards.

Correct
If they are both still there at dinner and at least an hour n half after lunch the score will move fast

Re: ********The Ashes********

Even stevens at the moment, that was a good innings from Root and got done by a good delivery. If Trott and KP dont kick on and we are 100 and something for 4 I wouldn't be that confident with Bell and Bairstow at the crease.
