I didn’t spot him in the field, but then I wasn’t looking out for him if I’m honest.Didn't get to watch any of it today, was very surprised Wells didn't bowl, was he fielding? I know he went off injured batting but batted later, so might not have been able to turn his arm over?
He's a bit of a golden arm, and as part time leg spinners go he's pretty good.
The only turner we have in the side is John Turner. Hartley is just a slow bowler.Lancashire could go through the County Championship season without winning a match, the bowling attack looks sub-standard.

Yeah, the self interest on the part of the owners of The Oval and Trent Bridge I guess would be high among the objectors to your suggestion.Watching some Div 2 cricket, I wonder what the point of it is. The standard is so poor that it does not represent a school for potential test cricketers.
England has over 400 professionals playing county cricket, far too many for what is now a minority sport. They earn £18,000 to £23,000 apart from a few senior pros who might get up to £28,000. Above this, the elite are on central contracts and play franchise cricket.
We should relegate all but about 8 counties to the minor counties or club cricket. We won’t of course as the sport is full of self interest.
My eight regions would be based: Durham, Headingley, Old Trafford, Lords, Edgebaston, Southampton, Cardiff, Taunton. 160 pros, quite enough.
Hey Ho.
At this rate Gloucestershire are going to have a 50 run target in an hourI see Lancs doing their best to make a game of it … dear me
Yep, shocking stuffAt this rate Gloucestershire are going to have a 50 run target in an hour
I’m lost for words… I feel as gutted as when we got relegated…450 first innings and hanging on for a draw. Gloucs sensing revenge for David Hughes in the dark.
It's a huge problem. On a good pitch, which is exactly what Lancs play on every home game you need a spinner who can turn the ball, preferably a leg spinner, and some genuine pace in the seam attack to unsettle the batsmen. The only turner we have in the side is John Turner. Hartley is just a slow bowler.
So Lancs maintain their unbeaten start to the season :)
Three visitors to OT this year. All have batted only once and all have scored more than 490.Lancashire could go through the County Championship season without winning a match, the bowling attack looks sub-standard.
