Although run rate will not be an issue (no more rain means no draw) what England have done really well in restricting their scoring is to make sure they have to face a lot more balls if they are to win the match, very disciplined bowling
 
Root's economy albeit partially down to their approach is really helping cover Moeen's fucked finger and stokes's knee.
 
If stokes can’t bowl would like to woakes come in for lords test for ali and use root as the spin option . woakes has a great record at lords and can bat to a very good standard also doesn’t usually spin that much at lords

That's why I believe we will go with an extra fast bowler at Lords, one of the current ones possibly Anderson steps down , and Wood and one of Potts Woakes steps in for mo

Woakes has to be in the side at Lords as you say. He's magic there. I wonder how many tests they feel Wood can play. Need him at Old Trafford and the Oval. Could he do Lords as well? Drop Jimmy and Moeen for those two.
