If we only have 20/20 or the hundred then Cricket is fucked

Test Cricket needs the ODI 50-over game for development, batting proper and bowling 10 overs is key for test cricket.
Smash Ball cricket with little skill with bat or ball and it is Killing Cricket as a Sport.

If you want Entertainment then give 20/20 or the Hundred its own Governing body and split and Break away from Test and ODI Cricket and label it Fake Cricket

Assuming Pakistan don’t make a dramatic comeback they might as well scrap the rest of the group matches and move straight to the semi finals. The top 4 are miles ahead of the rest. South Africa (apart from the Netherlands aberration) proving you don’t need to bat to number 10 if your batsmen 1 to 6 are good and apply themselves properly

Anyone watching the cricket at the moment?

It looked like the South African batsman didn’t review that but the umpire reviewed it to check if the catch had carried. IF that is the case why was it reviewed for whether the batsman hit it or not if he was given out caught behind and the batsman didn’t review it?

My dad played in the Lancs league, uncle semi pro and coached the game, David (bumble) Lloyd god father to one of my cousins, strangely i have virtually zero interest in the game aside from a pissed up coach trip to the real Old Trafford, for the ashes test as a young guy in 1981, Botham hit a century. I was dragged along to watch on Sunday's and found the whole experience utter tedium. Cricket is a great game loved by many but not me.
