That's really not true at all. Our batting is fine. T20 cricket doesn't give you much time to get in and play exceptional cover drives. You have to take some risks. We've just beaten Sri Lanka 3-0 in Sri Lanka. They don't lose many T20 series at home. Our batting was a major part of that success.

Our bowling is our weakness. There's very little variation or IQ to how we bowl aside from Rashid and as you say we're in trouble when he goes. Again, that's just nonsense. Salt is 2nd in the world rankings, Buttler 4th, Brook 23rd. They had a bad game against West Indies, chasing too many but you seem to expect them to bat like it's a test match. The West Indies were 70 odd for four and got a mammoth total. You have to take risks and attack if you have a huge total to chase down and put the pressure on the bowlers.

We need to bowl better so we are chasing fewer runs.
