Manchester United legends Bryan Robson and Paddy Crerand have joined forces with the Malaysian winner of Pop Idol to launch a charity single for Monday night's Manchester derby.
The song, 'You Raise Me Up', features Jaclyn Victor, the Malaysian Pop Idol winner, as well as Manchester pop group Cleopatra, and is performed by Manchester band The World Red Army.
It is being launched to coincide with Monday's Premier League showdown between Manchester United and Manchester City, with all download income going to the Cancer Research UK Charity.
Robson and Crerard are featured in the video, which has been filmed in Manchester, London, Oxford and Kuala Lumpur.
"It’s a great collaboration of artists and a fitting tribute to our legends and the proceeds go towards a very good cause,” said Robson.
Crerard, who was part of United’s 1968 European Cup-winning team, added: "There’s no doubt it’s going to be a massive game on Monday, let’s hope the song is a huge success and we can raise some money for charity."
