If this doesn't open the eyes of the transfer forum posters who believe anything they read and ask brain dead questions like....is journalist xyz reliable, there isn't any hope for them.
Anyone who would still quote twitter/Instagram/papers....do yourself and everyone else a favour and delete your BM account ;)
 
A friend (P) of mine's Dad (try to ignore the seeming tenuousness) is the agent of ex-Madrid keeper Keylor Navas.

She met Cristiano Ronaldo on a fair few occasions in the VIP areas of RM, and couldnt say enough nice things about how he was a real family man, always had a nice word to say to her and her daughter (L), and had real values (you'll notice that he doesnt advertise crisps or shite like that as highlighted in the Euro Coca-Cola incident).

Now I obviously thought that he's a c*nt, but she changed my mind, so if he tipped up at City I wouldn't be a critic (plus, let's be honest, he's been as good if not better than Messi).

Again, in what respect has he been better than Messi?
Because he's played in different leagues? He's quite rightly held in the very highest regard but he couldn't dream of doing half the stuff with a football that Messi does.
I suppose if you prefer power and pace over sheer genius then I'd see why you preferred him over Messi but it certainly doesn't make him better.

I believe that.....my brother stayed in same hotel as Portugal in serbia just before Euros and said he was the most humble, genuine, footballer he'd ever met.....rest of the Portuguese players were aloof, head up their arse, prima donnas....ours included ;)

Ps......i may have posted that at the time?....and i still think he's a red knob ;)

Yeah, wrong terminology from some, however, he is the more proven and superior goal scorer, his cv dictates that with the consistency across the 3 top leagues... sure messi is the greatest all round but I’d argue that tranny is without question the greatest goal scorer ever!

The boy knows where the net is, no arguments there. He's a fantastic player and if Messi hadn't been strutting his stuff at the same time he'd be rightly hailed as the best in the world.
