Is that when we were first offered him and said no? Then Kane happened? I don’t know what the things were on that.
 
I think people underestimate just how good Ronaldo and Messi are.

Ronaldo has scored less than 25 league goals once in the last seven seasons. Including 29 goals last season and 31 the season before.

Aguero, our best ever goalscorer, hit more than 25 league goals once in his time here.
 
I dont like him as a person, his image etc and dont want him as a City player. From Citys perspective though they would see it as an opportunist situation to get one of the best players in the world at a silly price that would likely guarantee us 25-30 goals this season and therefore a perfect fit in this respect.

this isnt even 30 year old ronaldo. Hes 36! If it was a one year with option for two then i can see it but 2 years?! i expect well sign a proper forward next season so we’d still have him raking in the dough for an extra year. might hamper us when it comes to signing a decent forward as the new ffp is based on wages.

We are desperate. Luckily for us a 36 year old animal has became available that likes to score plenty of goals.

He just mentioned his mate told him that Mendes was/was going to be in town and posted it on the 18th. He thought it was for Bernardo (his guess).
He posted today morning saying that the same guy has been told to be available/on stand by to work in case Ronaldo happens.
